Over the past 20 years, I have had the great fortune of being a voiceover actor in Hollywood – voicing hundreds of commercials, television promos, movie trailers, documentaries, and animated characters. In that world, it’s been a belief by many that successful male voice actors generally push their voices into a lower register in order to sound deeper, more powerful and more masculine.
